Norman J. Smyth RUA

Born in Belfast in 1933, Norman Smyth is celebrated for his abstract and figurative works. Though mostly self-taught as an artist, he spent a brief period studying at the Belfast College of Art. His work has been exhibited throughout Ireland and the UK. He became a member of the RUA in 1999, and in 2000 was awarded a Gold Medal at the RUA Exhibition.
