Noel Shaw
Noel Shaw began working as an artist apprenticeship, before becoming a lithographic artist working as an illustrator in Belfast. He moved from the city to the Antrim countryside to set up a fish farm, pursuing his interest in rearing trout. While living in the countryside, Shaw used oil painting to document everyday rural life, finding inspiration in the nature surrounding him.
