John O'Connell
Born in Derry in 1935, John O’Connell studied at St. Mary’s College of Education in Belfast and went on to teach art full time at St. Patrick’s Knock. His work has been exhibited at the RUA and RHA, along with solo shows at Queen’s University, Keys Gallery, Eakin Gallery and Guinness Gallery. His work can be found in the public collections of BBC NI, Belfast Hilton Hotel and the Department of Education of Northern Ireland.
