Ivan Sutton

Born in 1944 in Kilmore Quay, Co. Wexford, Ivan Sutton favours a representative and semi-abstract style of painting. His work often depicts boats, harbour scenes, still life and musicians. A self-taught artist, he was made a full member of the Dublin Art and Sketching Club, Visual Artists Ireland and the Limerick Art Society.
Sutton has exhibited with the Royal Hibernian Academy and published a book called Sutton at Sixty.
