Helena Zak
Helena Zak was born in Stockholm in 1954 and lived in Paris before moving to Ireland in 1976. From 1980, Zak began working as a full-time artist and was awarded an Arts Council bursary in 1981. Her first solo exhibition took place at the Triskel Arts Centre, Cork. A solo exhibition of her work was held at the Oliver Dowling Gallery in 1982. Her work has been included in group exhibitions, such as EVA, Limerick and SADE.
