Darren Paul
Darren Paul was born in Belfast in 1944. From childhood, Darren had an affinity for art. He attended art classes under the tutorage of Desmond Kinney and later attended lectures delivered by Neil Shawcross at Belfast Technical College. Darren worked as a full-time artist, living off the coast of County Antrim with his wife.Taking inspiration from his home, Darren often played with light, shade, and colour to effectively capture the surrounding movement and atmosphere of his subjects. Working in impasto techniques, Darren’s style was typically impressionistic and loosely figurative.
