Cupar Pilson

Born in Belfast, Cupar Pilson has worked for many years as a graphic artist in printing and newspaper advertising. However, his passion is painting landscapes in oils, acrylics and mixed media. Incorporating figures, his paintings create narratives connecting local past scenes and personal memories, along with a certain naivety of style which is a hallmark of his work. He exhibits in various galleries and open exhibitions around Northern Ireland, including the Royal Ulster Academy annual shows. His work is represented in various private collections throughout Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia.
