Aylmer E. Armstrong UWS

Aylmer Armstrong was born in Belfast in 1924. He attended Belfast College of Art before beginning work as an art teacher at Coleraine Technical College. Armstrong became a minister of the Presbyterian Church in 1961, however he remained a dedicated artist and heavily involved in the Coleraine Art Society which he had helped to found. Armstrong passed away in 2014.
